How much coffee grounds are to much?

I recently bought a bag of Colombia coffee from Caribou Coffees. On the side of the bag it says for the best coffee use 2 heaping tablespoons per 8 oz. so for a 10 cup pot that’s equal to 20 heaping tablespoons. Which is more than 1 1/4 cup of coffee grounds. Now that’s INSANE! This better be good coffee!
