Well, East of Eden by John Steinbeck could probably fit into 1,2, 5, and 6. If non-fiction is okay, The Jew Store by Stella Suberman would be good for number four. On that same note, in its own weird way, The Gl Castle by Jeanette Walls is actually pretty funny. It's a weird kind of funny, but funny nonetheless. It would be GREAT for 1, 2, 4, and 6, too. I'd have to re-read it, but you might be able to squeeze some five out of there. ...Wow, yeah, The Gl Castle pretty much fits all of those. =O
