Can I sue in Texas for a $2500.00 security deposit for a house I rented in Florida?

You can sue while you live in Texas, but you or your lawyer would have to file the lawsuit in Florida. Texas has no jurisdiction to take the case and so the lawsuit would have to take place in Florida and Florida only. It could be very difficult to sue her if she is living in England though, because the U.S. government cannot force her to come to the states for the lawsuit.
